Yes! we are going to start painting, yeah! Bring painting supplies…
- Acrylics; Blue Ultramarine, Red Cadmium med, Yellow Cadmium med and Burnt Umber
- Palette knife
- Palette; plexiglass/masonite/disposable
- Brushes; long handle, bristle/synthetic, medium price.
- Cotton fabric to clean the brushes, the old t-shirts are the best.
- Spray bottle
- Yogurt container (for the water)
- A hard support to paint on; canvas board, masonite board, cardboard also used stretched canvas. No paper.
And for homework
A drawing interior still life.
Find a composition (using the view master), built the drawing with values (dark to light), no lines (only concrete lines if it is necessary)
If you use charcoal do it on manila paper or cartridge.
If you use conté sticks on newsprint.
