Do as many as you can as a part of your daily sketches.

November 3

Make 2 collages (abstract level) 2 square and triangle. Same instruction (Oct. 20)

Collage 1: Create harmony/peace. Follow the properties of the shapes.

Collage 2:  Create conflict/war. Go against the properties of the shapes

Observe the properties of each shape/edges/corners/surfaces/center/periphery

Collage 3: Continue working the original collage from last week.

October 20

Make a collage

Surface: Ratio of 11 x 14 cm

Elements: 2 squares same size + isosceles triangle (base = size of square side).

Create a connection with a message.

Isosceles triangle = two sides are of equal length (originally and conventionally limited to exactly two). An isosceles triangle also has two equal angles: the angles opposite the two equal sides.

Ratio= is an expression which compares quantities relative to each other. The most common examples involve two quantities, however in theory any number of quantities can be compared. Mathematically they are represented by separating each quantity with a colon, for example the ratio 2:3, which is read as the ratio “two to three”.
